What are our immediate needs?
Our constant and greatest immediate need is financial. We have families every week in our office that need financial assistance. We only provide “emergency” financial assistance and our clients are limited to $150.00 per year of direct assistance. Many times we are helping families keep on the heat in the winter or providing help with life sustaining medicines. Many days we must turn away those that need emergency help with utilities, prescription drugs, gasoline., etc. These are basic items that a family requires for survival in our world today.
In addition, we also need constant provision for our food pantry. If you or an organization you belong to can provide financial assistance, food, a food drive the SE Gwinnett Cooperative Ministry would welcome your help and support. If would like more information regarding these areas, please feel free to contact our offices at info@segwinnettcoop.org
Other ways to help
In the Christian life a key element of growth is giving to others, Jesus said “let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven” Matt. 5:16 The SE Gwinnett Coop not only provides for a way for individuals to give financially but also a place to work in a volunteer effort in the operation of this ministry. If you have a desire to volunteer just call (770)985-5229 or email us at info@segwinnettcoop.org.
